Survived because turned into a church

Structure lacks architectural cohesion

Inscription says Agrippa built me but brick stamps date from Trajan and Hadrian

Pantheon means ‘all the gods’ in Greek
Has a pediment on the portico, an unsupported domed roof and an oculus. Not found in other Roman buildings.
