• Due to the curvature of the earth, the sun’s heat is distributed over a small area.
• The sun heating the earth causes the air to rise and form a low pressure zone
• The air seperates
• After they get 30 degrees away from their starting point, the air sinks and cools which forms a high pressure zone
• As it sinks it becomes warm and dry.
