What is the pelvic floor managed?
Muscles: pelvic diaphragm, form a sling-like structure at the base of the pelvis, These muscles include the levator ani group (pubococcygeus, puborectalis, and iliococcygeus) and the coccygeus muscle
Ligaments: Several ligaments help stabilize the pelvic floor and connect the pelvic organs to the bony pelvis, uterosacral, cardinal, and pubocervical ligaments in women, and the puboprostatic ligaments in men. These ligaments ensure that the organs remain in their proper position
Connective Tissues: Fascia and other connective tissues also play a role in supporting the pelvic floor helps anchor them to the pelvic walls
