Presentation of Endometrial Cancer
Post menopausal bleeding
Irregular/abnormal bleeding patterns in a high risk younger woman
Investigation of Post Menopausal Bleeding
TVUSS (>5mm abnormal)
Then biopsy:
Homogenous thickening: Pipelle
Focal masses: Hysteroscopy

- Stage I: 95% 5-year survival
- Stage II: 70%
- Stage III: 60%
- Stage IV: 15%
What hereditary syndrome increases endometrial cancer risk?
HNPCC AKA Lynch Snydrome
(Hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer)
Familial cancer syndrome predisposing to colorectal, endometrial, stomach, ovarian cancers
27% to 71% lifetime risk of endometrial cancer
What is the staging system for endometrial cancer?
FIGO

Presentation of Endometriosis
Dyspareunia
Cyclical bloating
