S: When I submitted my proposal I was told that my methodloogy was both underdeveloped and wrong
T: I had to rework the section, do lots of research and seek advice
A: I read lots of econometric papers to learn how they did it & contacted my econometrics tutor to nail the technical details
R: I got a first
Tell me about time you faced/overcame a challenge
S: A customer had a brand new all-electric BMW’s dashboard and dials crash 100 miles away in Manchester at 5pm on a Friday.
T: I had to get him back to Worcester and arrange a similar courtesy car for 3 weeks while a new dash was ordered from Germany.
A: I liaised with BMW recovery for the customer and kept him up to date. I spoke with the sales team who had an i3 display car.
R: The customer was back in Worcester that same evening with the sales i3 waiting for him on his drive and his ready to go in our workshop. After 3 weeks the issue was resolved and he gave us glowing feedback, which exceeded our quota and gave myself and my department the month’s bonus.
