What is GVWR?

A

Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.
Max operating weight of a vehicle as specified by manufacture
It is equal to or greater than the sum of the unloaded vehicle plus cargo carrying capacity (CCC)

A

Tongue weight.
The downward force that the tongue of the trailer applies to the hitch of the tow vehicle.

A

A

Gross vehicle weight.
Actual weight of a fully loaded vehicle, including fuel, passengers, tongue weight, towed vehicle, cargo etc.
the GVW must not exceed the GVWR

What is UVW? (Curb weight)

A

Unloaded vehicle weight or (curb weight)
Weight in the RV as built from factory with full fuel, oil and coolant. (On lot)
Does not include cargo, fresh water, passengers or dealer installed accessories

GCWR

A

Gross combination weight rating
Max allowable total loaded vehicle weight rating of motor vehicle and any trailer being towed.
GCWR minus GVWR is the max allowable weight for the towed vehicle.

What is CCC?

A

Cargo carrying capacity formally called NCC: net cargo capacity.
Is the weight equal to the GVWR minus: UVW, full water including water heater, full propane, and the SCWR.
Anything added by dealer reduces the CCC
