Depends on who you ask:
- Needs to be autonomous (make decisions on its own)
- Has a physical body
- Identifies and responds to cues from the enviroment (temperature/hear/see)
- Capable of social interactions.

What is emotional alignment?
We want the robot to be emotionally alligned with the client. If you are upset and telling the robot that you are it should not be winking and smiling.
What are some considerations when it comes to emotion and robotics?
- it is hard to agree on what emotion is
- humans experience multiple emotions at once.
