His relationship with Catherine gets more complicated aften she must get medical attention for 5 weeks due to a dog bite. Hindley's wife dies in birth and he becomes an alcholoic. He becomes more abusive. Catherine wants social advancement so she marries Edgar, even though she loves Heathcliff, and Heathcliff runs away. Healthcliff comes back, seeks revenge. Hindley dies, Heathcliff inherts and marries Isabeela and is abusive. Catherine dies in birth and Isabella runs to London and has Heathcliffś son. Heathcliff DEPRESSED. 13 years later, Nelly is Catherine's daughter's maid. Isabella dies and her son goes to live with his father, Heathcliff, and is treated even more abusivly.
