Cephalexin 50 mg/kg/day PO divided TID

What is the treatment for uncomplicated pyelonephritis(usually patients are women 18-40 years old)
Ciprofloxacin 500 mg BID x 7 days
Levofloxain 750 mg PO Qday x 7 days
If fluroquinolone not an option then. bactrim 1 po bid x 10-14 days

Diflucan (flucanozole). 150 mg once or may repeat 4-7 days if symptoms continue
Monistat 1, 3, 7 -day corse OTC or rX
Probiotics — lactobacillus needed
