I was arrested in relation to a drug ring that my friends –andy benson, carter rodriguez, and shannon murray- participated in

And how would you describe your experience at Catoctin College?

Answer 4

I struggled to make friends and find people to connect with because I was pretty quiet and reserved. I then found Humans vs the Undead which I found very fun

What is Humans v. Undead?

It is a game of tag with nerf guns where one person starts out as the Undead, and their goal is to tag everyone to win

Could you expand a little more on your social life while at college?

I was approached by Andy Benson his friends group to join their Humans vs The Undead team. I was initially intimidated because they had all been friends for three years and they were all seniors. It took a few weeks to get pretty close. I was excited to have made friends with seniors

What, if any, activities did you participate in with Benson, Rodriguez, and Murray

I would often be in their apartment, playing video games, eating food, drank a little, and generally hang out whenever we had the chance too. We were just average college students

When, if ever, did you observe anything relating to illegal substances?

It was September 23.

And what did you hear on September 23rd?

Shannon offered Carter some Adderall to help him study, and didn’t tell me where they got it from. Andy also pulled out a joint and passed it around - I did not take part as I had asthma.

To your knowledge, were there any other references to drugs, other than the interaction of September 23rd?

September 23rd was not the first time. A couple weeks later, Carter pulled me aside and told me earlier during the spring 2021 semester that the three of them had started to sell study drugs. Carter had a legit prescription, and the others had faux(fo) ones, Apparently they had been hiding the operation since I joined the team. I absolutely denied taking part

What, if anything else, did Carter tell you during that interaction in relation to drugs?

He asked me if I wanted, in and absolutely refused.

Did they ever try to get you to join the operation after that?

Answer 12

Andy asked me once or twice, but they backed off after a while. I never joined the operation.

How did you feel about their behavior?

I did not like it, and I didn’t want to play any part. They were my only friends and I just wanted to play Humans vs the Undead

Yes, I did, as I had nothing to hide.

Yes, but I chose not to as I had not been accused of a crime at the time

Carter told me that they had the idea of selling cocaine, but I am not sure if that even happened. I thought it was a horrible and dangerous idea.
