- Rules are laid down for grape growing and winemaking and also for agein requirements in Naoussa PDO
- Restircted to native varieties , excp. Muscat
- PGE is the equiv to PGI wines , there are 120 and accounts for 17% of all the wine production
- Grape growing allowd for international varieties
- ‘Wine from Greece’ are without Geographical Indication and accounts for 66% of porduction
