Magwitch is a victim of circumstance, he starts out dishonest, and after his first experience with Pip he changes his whole outlook on life.

“A sort of Hercules in strength and in weakness,” he is honest, loving, hardworking, and represents moral goodness.
Describe Mrs. Joe (Georgiana)
Mrs. Joe is abusive toward Pip and Joe. She took in Pip when he was orphaned. She is a social climber. She was attacked by Orluck and was paralyzed and couldn’t talk until she eventually died.

Describe Compeyson
Compeyson is the second convict that Pip saw on the marshes. He conned Miss Havisham by working with her half brother Arther. Compeyson was killed by Magwitch on the water.
Describe Miss Havisham
Miss Havisham is old, she wears most of her wedding clothes. She was stood up at her wedding by Compeyson. She stopped the clocks when she found out. That was where her life “ended.” She adopted and raised Estella to break men’s hearts.
