What was the narrating in the start of the book?
It’s a first-person narrative. Pip’s older self is narrating/ telling the story of his younger self. It’s a Bildungsroman.
How is Joe described as in the book?
he is seen as a role model for pip and a father figure. He is a lovely character. seen as an equal.
How is Mrs Joe presented in the book?
she is a horrible person. she is the man of the house. she went through a lot of death which makes us feel somewhat sympathy for her. she punishes joe and pip with the tickler.
How is Miss Havisham seen as in the book?
she is a creepy and insane lady. she is in her 30s. she adopted a girl named estella who pip then falls in love with.
How is Satis house seen as in the book?
dark, scary, old, gothic, silent,
How is Estella presented in the book?
a pretty young lady. she is quite horrible but that could be because she was influenced by her mother (Miss Havisham).
