The repatriation program essentially deported Mexicans to create jobs for Americans
Social Security Act
Applied to people over 65, mentally or physically disabled. Provided benefits to leave the workforce which created jobs for people who were more able to work, while also giving these people money that they could put back into the economy
Indian New Deal
Reversed the Dawes Act, gave Indian tribes more autonomy and sovereignty over their land

The blue eagle meant that a business followed codes set by the NRA, obtained it by following the rules of no child labor, minimum wage, and maximum work hours

“Share the Wealth” - limited personal wealth to a certain amount and redistribute it to the general population
Francis Townsend’s plan to end the Depression.
$200 a month for every person over the age of 60, but it was mandatory that they spent the money every month
Supreme Court action on May 27, 1935…brief summary.
The Supreme Court found the NIRA unconstitutional because it had no right to prosecute sick chicken sellers in New York because it was inside state lines (sick chicken case)

Court Packing Scheme, FDR wanted to appoint a new justice for each one over the age of 70, which would have added 6 new justices to the court.
The agency that expanded the definition of public works to include art, literature, and theater.
