Time series graphs
shows the number of something throughout different time periods
Scatter plot
individual data points across 2 numerical values. Variables x and y are related
Pie chart
Items which are represented as percentages of the whole
Bar chart
Show value of specific data points
Line graph
Shows a relationship between x and y. One variable
Multiple line graphs
Shows a relationship but two phenomena are correlated
Ceteris paribus

Median
the middle most value. If the number of items is even, the 2 of the middle are picked
Change in value
Percentage change-new value-old value/old value x 100%
Midpoint method
percentage change=new value - old value/(new+old)/2 x 100%
Marginal analysis
comparing the additional benefits and (MB) derived from the activity and the extra cost (MC) incurred by the same activity. It’s good when MB>MC
