Gradient = Change in y / change in X

Gradient = 5-4 / 6-4 = 1/2 = 0.5
What is the equation to work out the gradient using coordinates?
Y2 - y1 / x2 - x1
Find the equation of the line which has a gradient of 4 and goes through (2,7)
