What is a modal verb?
A modal verb conveys shades of meaning; or offer a judgement about whether what we say or write is true. Can, could, will, would, shall, should, may, might, must

This has 2 or more main verbs. Also conjunctions etc.. And but either or. I like cake but i can not eat chocolate
Example and explain complex sentence
One main verb(and clause) but one or more sub-ordinate clauses (that would not make sense on there own) i enjoy sweet things with in, so i don t miss chocolate at all.
What is the function of a verb?
They convey the action of a sentence
They can be dramatic and dynamic
Or stative(to think, to feel)
They can be in present or past tense
Explain a basic essay structure.
- intro, the issue and possible views
- para 1 outline one of your arguments
- para 2 outline second argument
- para 3 offer a third argument, tackle opposing views and why it is not valid.

-conclusion, sun up your feelings. Try to end on a persuasive, conclusive note. - use a personal experiance (anecdote)- this is often very persuasive
