Describe context clues
It’s determining the meaning of the bolder words based on the context on the sentence
Define declarative sentence
A sentences making a statement ending in a period
Define exclamatory sentence
A sentence excitedly expressing emotion and ends in an exclamation mark
Define impartive sentence
A sentence that give orders, commands and instructions. Ends with a period or exclamatory mark
Interrogative sentence:
A sentence asking a question. Ends in a question mark
What’s a simple sentence
Has only one clause (can stand on its own)
They may have an additional phrase added (dependent sentence) telling what and where

Two or more clauses joined with a subornating clause.
1 independent sentence and 1 dependent sentence
Define a compound - complex sentence
Three or more clauses joined by a coordinating conjunction and the other by a subornating conjunction.
1 indecent clause and 2 dependent clauses

A verb is an action or state of being. An adverb describes a verb, adjective or adverb

A noun is a person, place or thing. An adjective describes a noun
