Predicative vs Attributive adjectives?
delete the adjective and if it still makes sense, its attributive. Predicative adjs are never straight after an article
Using an adjective as a noun is called?
Substantive
Special uses of εἰμι?
At the start of a sentence it means ‘there is’ or ‘they are’ even though it normally means ‘he, she, it is’.
Compliments as nouns?
Subject comes before compliment OR the article is dropped from the compliment
Instruments and agents?
Instruments are inanimate objects normally occurring in the dative. Agents are living beings.
οὐκ? ἐκ?
Before a noun with a smooth breathing this becomes οὐχ, and ἐξ.
Prepositions?
Many prepositions that end in a vowel drop it when the following words begins with a vowel.
Plural neuter nouns?
Take a singular verb
