- Present perfect: a period if time from past until now.
- I’ ve been married for 10 years
- past simple: finished period of time in the past
- He was married for two years (now not)

- used to..+ infinitive for: in past, not true now example: as child
- I used to have long hair
- U can also use past simple here:
I had long hair when I was a child
