- Refer to females (la chica)
- End in -a (la casa)
- End in -ión, -dad, or -ura (la canción, la ciudad, la verdura)

- Refer to males (El Chico)
- End in -o or -or (El Libro)
- Refer to days of the week,months,rivers,mountains and oceans (El Lunes, el atlántico)

Small or taking the negative away e.g he’s short- he’s a little guy or she’s fat-she a bit plump
It@ e.g es Baja-es bajito or es gord-es gordita
Exaggerates and adjective e.g she’s pretty-she’s gorgeous
Ísim@ e.g es guapa- es guapísuma
Feeling of something or liking it e.g it’s nice and warm or coffee e.g feel you really want one
Cit@ e.g Hace calorcito or cafecito
Remember adjectives have to agree in gender and singular/plural and that they usually go after the nouns
E.g un Chico alto-A tall boy
Unas calles estrechas-narrow streets

Add … To form and adverb, if your using two adverbs just use … On the second one
