4 types of sentences
declarative, exclamatory, imperative, and interrogatory
declarative
stating a fact (ends with a period)
exclamatory
ends with an exclamation point/ one that expresses sudden or strong emotions and feelings
imperative
a sentence that tells somebody to do something
interrogatory
a sentence that asks a question
