Auxiliary verbs
Used in forming tenses, moods, and voices of other verbs.
Eg: Was, am, will be, did, do, will do, had, have, will have
Modal verbs
Indicated a modality such as likelihood, ability, permission, etc
Eg: Can, could, may, might, must, shall, should, will, would

A statement

A sentence made of multiple clauses to build a detailed scene

The modification of a word or phrase by means of a preceding element

The fact of coming after the most important word in a noun group (the head) and adding information about it
