Hello, my name is Arya Maheswaran and for my Grade 7 acting exam I will be performing 3 piece. My first piece is Macbeth Act 4 Scene 1. Macbeth was written by William Shakespeare in 1606. In this piece I play the witches, who are making a potion and casting a spell. This piece is set in a cave.

The second piece that I will be performing is Equus by Petter Shaffer written in 1973. In this piece I play Dora who is talking to her son Alan’s doctor at the psychiatric hospital he was admitted to after being found guilty of blinding six horses with a metal spike.

A

The final piece that I will be performing is The curious incident of the dog at night time. This was written by Simon Stevens based on the novel by Mark Hadden. It was written in 2012. In this piece I play Judy. In this piece my character is reading the letter that she has written to her autistic son Christopher about why she left him and her father.
