Describe a backwards slap
A backward hit and a step, counted ( and 1)
What is a hop
stand on one foot, spring and alight onto the ball of the samefoot
What is a spring
stand on one foot, spring and alight onto the ball of the other foot
Describe the changes steps
- Ball change- a change of weight from the ball of on foot to the balll of the other. ( can be done with 2 steps or 2 ball drops)
- Heel change - a change of weight from the heel of one foot to the heel of the other. ( can be done with 2 heel drops or 2 heel digs)
- Ball to flat- a change of weight from the ball of one foot to the flat of the other. ( a step and a stamp must change weight)
Describe the digs
dig sharply into the floor with either the heel or the ball of the foot
What is a drop spring
stand on one foot, spring and drop heavily onto the ball of the other foot. Can also stay on the same foot which is called a drop hop
What is a brush
A brushing movement of the foot in any direction using the hip, knee and ankle joint.
Describe a jump
A jumping movement in any direction, can be commenced from one or two feet
What is a flap
A forward hit and a stamp finshed with a relaxed knee. Can be finished with weight on either foot . other foot may be lifted or remain in the floor .
