Power is given to the people, the citizenship of the nation.

Every citizen is given an equal vote in government and, together make all of the important decisions

Citizens vote or elect lawmakers to represent their interests
Indirect democracy
A government run by religious doctrine
Theocracy
A small group of people in charge
Oligarchy
No sharing the power with other authorities
Dictatorship
The monarch holds total control over the country
Absolute Monarchy
The king or queen holds some power, but it is restricted
Constitutional Monarchy
An interesting type of government, because it’s technically not a government at all.
Anarchy
A group of people who control the country, make law and keep orders

To make laws, inforce laws, protect people, and to provide public services.
What 3 powers do all governments have?
Make laws, Enforce laws, and judiciary laws
One political party is in power, and people are forced to do what the government tells them.
