Bill Of Rights
a list of 10 basic rights that every citizen has.
Federalism
Power divided between the state and central governments
Concurrent Powers
Powers that the state and national government share.
Shared Powers
exactly like concurrent powers. They are the same thing.
Checks and Balances
Show what each branch of government does, how it interacts with the other branches, and it shows that no branch dominates the other.
Republicanism
An event or happening that includes voting to find a representative.
Popular Sovereignty
Shows that the people (citizens) ultimately have more power than the government.
Separation of Powers
When the national government was split into three separate branches. Legislative, Executive, and Judicial.
Limited Government
Shows that government power is split between government and people.

Federalist vs. Anti-Federalist
Anti-Federalists didn’t want to ratify the constitution, but Federalists showed them all the reasons that they should, and had answers for all their questions.
