what are the 3 powers all governments face?
power to make law, power to enforce laws,and judicial
Anarchy
No government,basically a free country with no laws/rules.
Theocracy
a government run by religious doctrine.
oligarchy
a small group of people in charge.
democracy
the power is given to the people; the citizens.
direct democracy
this is when every citizen of voting age is given an equal vote in the government and together vote to make all of the impoten decieans.
representative democracy
citizens elect one lawmaker to make important decisions for them.
indirect democracy
the same as representative democracy. The citizens elect a lawmaker to ,make laws the make the citizens happy.
republic
a state in which supreme power is held by the people and their elected representatives, and which has an elected or nominated president rather than a monarch.
constitutional democracy
citizens vote on representatives to help make laws according to and following the constitution.
autocracy
one person is in power
monarchy
a king or queen inherit their power through family line.
absolute monarchy
one person has complete power over a country.
dictatorship
there is no sharing power with the other authorities
