What is the voting process?
The voting process is the voter receives a ballot and numbers the parties in there preference order. Whichever party gets 50% + 1 votes will win the election.

All Australian citizens over 18 who have lived at their current address for over a month.
How often are elections held?
Elections are held every 3 years.
How is the winner decided in a election?
The winner is decided by the party who holds 50% + 1 votes

An electorate is an geographical area represented by a member of Parliament
What is preferential voting?
Preferential voting is a system of voting that allows a citizen to individually rank according to their preference. It is employed when no one wins outright, so a citizens vote still counts.
What is simple majority voting?
Simple majority voting is where less than half the votes are cast but the more than minimum are dc learned the winner when there is only two candidates.
