When the monarch holds some power, but it is restricted by constitution

There is no sharing power with other authorities

A small group of people is in charge

The power is given to the people, the citizens of the nation.

Direct democracy
This is when every citizen is given an equal vote in government and, together, makes all of the important decisions.

Representative democracy
Where citizens vote or choose lawmakers to represent their interests in the government
(Example germany)
Indirect democracy
Makes decisions for the benefits of the people they represent.
(Example India)
Presidential democracy
People vote directly vote for the countries leader and legislature. The legislature makes laws and the president approves or denies the law.
Parliamentary democracy
People only vote for their legislature. The political party that has the most seats gets to pick the prime minister.
Constitutional rebublic
U.S citizens vote on representatives to make laws and decisions for the country
