One person has the power

A king or queen inherits their power and position through their family line

Monarch holds the total control over the country

A small group of people that are in charge

Citizens elect/vote lawmakers to represent their interests in the government

citizens vote on representatives to make laws and decisions for the country

a government run by a religious doctrine

Nobody is in charge meaning nobody has the power
