When a small group of people are in charge.

One of the two types on autocracies, one person who rules by themselfs.

The monarch holds total control over the country.
absolute monarchy
When a monarchy holds some power, but is restricted by a constitution.
constitutional monarchy
When no one rules.
anarchy
A group of people who control the country, make laws, and keep order.

When one political party is in power, and people are forced to do what the government tells them to do.
