When every citizen is given an equal vote in government and together make all the decisions

Where citizens elect lawmakers to represent their interests in the government.
Indirect Democracy
A government run by a religious doctrine
Theocracy
Where only members from a certain class participate in government, descendants of a few families, or even heads of a few businesses
Oligarchy
No sharing power with other authorities. One person is a sole ruler. Ex Adolf Hitler
Dictatorship
The monarch holds total control over the country
Absolute Monarchy
When the Monarch holds some power but is restricted by a constitution
Constitutional Monarchy
No one rules
Anarchy
What three powers do all governments have?
Make Laws, enforce laws, and judiciary powers (alter laws)
A group of people who control the country, make the laws, and keep order
Government
What are the roles of the government?
To make and enforce laws, protect people and to provide public services
When one political party is in power, and people are forced to do what the government tells them
