Where every citizen is given an equal vote in government.

Where citizens elect (vote for or choose) lawmakers to represent their interests.
Indirect Democracy
A government run by religious doctrine.
Theocracy
A small group of people is in charge.
Oligarchy
Where there is no sharing power with other authorities.
Dictatorship
Where the monarch holds total control over the country.
Absolute Monarchy
When the monarch holds some power, but it is restricted by a constitution.
Constitutional Monarchy
In it no one is in charge.
Anarchy
A group of people who control the country.
Government
A country is ethnically the same.
Nation-State.
What are the roles of the Government?
To make and enforce laws, protect people and to provide public services.
What three powers do all governments have?
Make Laws, enforce laws and judiciary power (alter laws.
One political party is in Power and people are forced to do what the government tells them.
Totalitarian.
