A nation of people have a country of their own. Example: France, Japan, Egypt.
Nation-State
They vote for one person.
Republic
The power is given to the people, the citizens, of the nation.
Democracy
When every citizen is given an equal vote in government.
Direct Democracy
Representative democracy is modeled after the Ancient Roman Republic.
Indirect democracy
A government run by religious doctrine.
Theocracy
A small group of people that are in charge.
Oligarchy
one political party is in power,and people are forced to do what the government tells them.
totalitarian
People vote for the leader and legislature.
Presidential Democracy
People vote for a legislature and the ruling party in the legislature votes in a prime minister.
Parliamentary Democracy
There’s no sharing power with other authorities.
Dictatorship
The monarchy holds total control over the country.
Absolute Monarchy
This is when the monarch holds some Power but it is restricted by constitution.
Constitutional Monarchy
Is an interesting type of government because it’s technically not a government at all.
Anarchy
A group of people who control the country, make, laws, and keep order
