To rule by the people.

When every citizen is given an equal vote in government and together, make all of the important decisions.
Direct Democracy
Is where citizens elect (vote for)lawmakers to represent their interests in the government.
Indirect Democracy
A government run by religious doctrine.
Theocracy
A nation of people have a country of their own. Example: France, Japan, and Egypt.
Nation - state
A small group of people is in charge.
Oligarchy
No sharing power with authorities a sole ruler over their people like Adolf Hitler’s Germany.
Dictatorship
Holds total control over the country.
Absolute Monarchy
Holds some power, but it is restricted by a Constitution.
Constitutional Monarchy
No one is in charge everyone would basically look out for themselves with no rules no government binding them together.
Anarchy
A group of people who control the country, makes laws, and keep order.
Government

To make and enforce laws, protect people and to provide public services.
What three powers do all governments have.
Make Laws, enforce laws and judiciary power (alter laws.
One political party is in power and people are forced to do what the government tells them
Totalitarian
People vote for the leader and legislature.
presidential Democracy
People vote for the legislature and the ruling party in the legislature votes in a Prime Minister.
