Autocracy
One person is in power (Example: monarcy and dictatorship)
Totalitarian
one political party is in power. and people are forced to do what the government tells them.
Monarchy
A king or queen inherits their power and position through their family
Absolute power
the monarchy holds total control over the country
Constitutional monarchy
this is when the monarch holds some power but it is restricted by a constitution
Dictatorship
There is no sharing power with other authorities
oligarchy
a small group of people is in charge
democracy
the power given to the people
Direct democracy
this is when every citizen is given an equal vote in government and together make all of the important
