Elec. Emer. Config.

A

After ECAM, there is a QRH summary.
- If time, check FCTM
- Tune ILS frequency in the radio panel, because you will loose MCDU when selecting gear down (on some fins, depending on rat model)

Q

V1 Cut

A
  • Do NOT accelerate/retract flaps before you hear “Engine secured”, that’s why we say accelerate at or above eng. out acceleration altitude. So no level off before that, and of course, you need to be at least at eng. out acceleration altitude.
  • In the case of a low go around altitude with for example an engine fire WITH THRUST, the risk is getting to the m/a altitude before engine is secured and the a/c might accelerate very fast, risking to overspeed the flaps. Be mindful of that and consider deferring drill a bit and going into selected speed as to not overspeed flaps. This can happen very quickly so s/a is critical (pay attention to thrust and engine parameters). Continue drill once airspeed is under control.
