Google Slides Vocab Flashcards
A file that contains one or more slides. It can be used to present ideas and arguments.
Presentation/Slideshow
An individual page that can contain text, graphics, video, audio and animation.
Slide
Where the user builds the presentation.
Edit mode
Where the user shows the slides to the audience.
Presentation mode
The left-hand window in SLIDES. It can be used to rearrange the slides using drag and drop method.
Slide Pane (Slide Sorter View)
Can be found on the Insert menu. It is used to add new slides and to adjust the Slide Layout of new slides. Shortcut Command+M
New Slide
Composition of text, images, shapes and other elements on a slide.
Layout
A color-coordinated design with predefined fonts, font sizes, font colors, and background graphics you can apply to slides in a presentation. It is found on the main toolbar.
Theme
How the presentation changes from one slide to the next.
Transitions
An on-screen rectangular frame into which you type text. You can keep on typing and the box expands to meet your input.
Text Box
Color or images that can be added behind text.
