What is the fall?
Adam and Eve’s breaking of gods commandments and being expelled from the garden of Eden, by eating the fruit.
What is the original sin?
All humans are born sinful because of Adam and Eve and ‘the fall’.
What is moral evil?
Moral evil is evil caused by humans actions for example, murders.
What is natural evil?
Natural occurring evil for example, volcanoes, earthquakes.
What can a Christian do when evil happens?
Pray to God (either alone or as a community) for strength, or help by raising money, for example, David Walliams swam the English Channel to raise.
What do Christians believe God is ?
The ultimate good.
What are Christians response to suffering?
It’s a test
Bad are being punished
Free will
No one knows gods plans
What is the problem of evil?
If God is omnipotent, omniscient and omni- benevolent, how can God allow evil to exist.
What is redemption?
To be forgiven for your sins if you are sorry. By dying on the cross Jesus saved humanity from original sin.
Definition of suffering?
Pain and distress on humans and animals.
What is moral behaviour?
How a human know how to behave in the right way.
Definition of devil/Saran?
A real figure eg red figure with horns, a fallen angel or symbolic of evil in all of us.
What are Christmas sources of moral behaviour?
A Christian would use the 10 commandments, or the teachings/parables of Jesus, church teachings or the example of a famous Christian.
