What is original sin

A

Original sin is also known as the fall.
Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit going against gods wishes, leading to the pain and suffering that was introduced to gods perfect world.
Since then, humans have had original sin - the tendency to go against God. It is a reminder that we all share some responsibility for the evil and suffering in the world.

Gift from God
The ability to choose between good and evil.
When humans choose wrong, it causes suffering, so they are to blame not God.
Choosing bad is an abuse if the gift of free will.
