How is gonorrhoea spread?
A
It is a STD (sexually transmitted disease) passed on by sexual contact. Often unprotected sex.

What are the symptoms of gonorrhoea?
A
- Pain during urination
- Thick yellow/green discharge from the vagina or penis

How is gonorrhoea treated?
A
It is treated with antibiotics (penicillin). However, this is getting harder as strains of the bacteria have become more resistant to antibiotics.

How do you prevent the spread of gonorrhoea?
A
Barrier methods/abstinence. E.g. condoms.
