Precipitation

Convectional rainfall
A repeated process of the land heating the air above it, causing the air to expand rise and then cool. This causes the air to condense into clouds.
Relief rainfall
when air is forced to cool when it rises over relief features in the landscape such as hills or mountains. As it rises it cools, condenses and forms rain.
High pressure
When air falls.
Low pressure
When air rises.

the angular distance of a place north or south of the earth’s equator.
