Choose land…because Abram trusted God

Because the neighboring town was evil.

An agreement between two groups of people
What was God’s covenant with Abram?
That God would bless Abram and his descendants
How did Abram and Sarai help God keep his covenant?
By Hagar having a child with Abram
What did an angel tell Hagar about her son?
His name would be Ishmael “God hears”, and he would be father of a great nation.
How did God confirm his covenant with Abram?
He changes their names to Abraham “Father of many” and Sarah “princess”
