- Getting solution into your eyes
- Burning your skin
- The boiling tube could break and it could cut into the skin

What are the safety protocols? (Precaution)
A
- Wear goggles
- Use tongs to remove the boiling tube
- Place the boiling tubes into a boiling tube rack

What is the method?
A
- Place the sample solution into the boiling tube
- Add 1cm^3 of the Benedict’s solution into the boiling tube
- Add boiling water to a beaker
- Place the boiling tubes into the beaker with the boiling water for 5 minutes
- The solution in the boiling tubes will change colour
- If it is a positive colour change it will change from blue to brick red
