Dendrochronology (tree ring dating)

A

Helps date different objects. Each ring indicated one year, the more spaced out would be from climate change or conditions.

A

Can find out when something stops breathing carbon. By knowing how much still remains, the approximate death date can be worked out

A

Used to estimate the age of something that was once Aline; the amount of carbon in the remains of the object is tested and gives a good indication of age because carbon breaks down over time at a known rate

Used to estimate the age of objects; involves heating an object to help experts measure how much radiation the object can store and therefore judge how old it is
