Anthropocentric
The belief that human beings are the central or most important entity in the universe. The term can be used interchangeably with humanocentrism, and some refer to the concept as human supremacy or human exceptionalism.
Biocentric
Is the ethical perspective surrounding nature, holding that all forms of life deserve equal consideration morally and ethically; all life has inherent value (ie Genesis 2 teachings)
Environmental ethics
Is the systematic reflection (in this case from a Christian perspective) on issues concerning ecological management and survival of species and resources.
Hermeneutic
Applying modern context to the understanding of the bible. (i.e. don’t sell your daughter.)
Salvation
Interpreted in different ways in Christianity but essentially being connected with God for eternity
Stewardship
Is man’s responsibility for the created world → God created this world for us to enjoy and not be selfish with it
Bio ethic
Christian Bioethics is a non-ecumenical, interdenominational journal, exploring the Christian faiths with regard to the meaning of human life, sexuality, suffering, illness, and death within the context of medicine and health care.
Sexual ethics
Sexual ethics or sex ethics (also sexual morality) is a branch of philosophy that considers the ethics or morality or otherwise in sexual behavior. Sexual ethics seeks to understand, evaluate and critique interpersonal relationships and sexual activities from a social, cultural, and philosophical perspective.
