  • due to globalisation competition companies need more flexibility in amount of workers and the hours worked.
    -people in poverty will need these jobs to survive poverty but it will not lift them out

A

-capital is global, work is national/ local
- work is unorganised and isn’t for the interest of the workers giving bad working conditions
- transactional companies can move to cheaper labour countries to exploit workers to make more profit, governments can’t intervene to protect workers
