Globalisation definition.
The world is getting more connected through development in technology.
Glocalisation definition
A business will change their product to adjust it to a new market, so more people will buy it. This is because of cultural differences. eg mcdonalds replacing their big mac meet with chicken instead of beef in India.
Cultural diffusion
Culture gets spread around the world, such as religion in china. Can be spread by immigration or foreign media and tourist bringing their language and eating habits.
Fdi
Foreign direct investment. A foreign business or government invests in another country helping them develop and they will make their investment back.
Trade bloc
Removing the barres to trade. Liberalisation of trade. Many countries join together to reduce money spent on tariffs and taxes.
world trade organisation
A global agreement of governments deciding to trade. Rules are but in place.
Ngo
Non governmental organisation. They might work without profit in a way to work independently without the government. Normally trying to address a social issue.
Liberalisation
Removing or loosing restrictions. Could be seen in trade.
Kof
Each country is given a score out of 100, the higher number is more globalised
