What causes global warming?
A
The gases in the atmosphere act as an insulating layer and absorb most of the energy that would usually be radiated into space and re-radiated to different directions. This causes the temperature to increase on the planet.

Carbon dioxide and methane

Why should we be worried about global warming
A
1) The ice is melting which makes the sea level rise. This could also lead to flooding and could also lead to loss of habitats
2) could change migration patterns, e.g some birds could migrate to the north as it is warmer.
